These cute earrings are quick and easy to make. A perfect project for resin beginners. You’ll find the video and discount codes for the resin, mica and molds at the bottom of the page.

How it’s done
- Using a small makeup brush, add small amounts of mica at a time to your mould. Rub in small circles to get an even spread.
Get the Mold and Mica powder from Resin D’Etre Supplies. - Tap out any loose mica powder.
- Mix up your resin according to your own brands instructions.
We use Apex Resin Cure Pro which is perfect for small products and cures in any temperature. - Add your pigment slowly with a wooden or silicone stick. We like using black as it helps the mica powder pop.
Again, we use Apex Resin black pigment paste. - Let cure. As these are small pieces, keep in mind that it may take longer than the average bigger piece to fully cure. You’ll be drilling next so need to make sure they’re solid.
- Once cured, un-mold.
- Using a small drill or dremel (we use this one from Resiners), select the medium sided drill, the same side or ever so slightly bigger than your earring hoop, drill through the resin.
- Use a very fine grit sandpaper to smooth any rough edges.
- Thread your hoop (we got ours from Amazon here), though the hole and enjoy!
