Project difficulty: Easy
Project time: 40 minutes
What you’ll need
- 200g Eco Resin – Were using Eco Pour H2O from Apex – use code RESINFORBEGINNERS to get 15% off
- Kitchen scales – As eco pour is non toxic we just use our regular kitchen scales from Amazon and find they’re really accurate.
- 60g Water – We use a measuring jug so we know how much were using.
- Stirring stick / spoon – You’ll see in our video that we’re recycling an old baby spoon.
- Pigment – Shop at Apex and get 15% off Create and Bloom Eco Pigments with code RESINFORBEGINNERS.
- Mixing cups – We used clean and dry yogurt pots.
- Gloves – Although all non-toxic, gloves will save your hands from getting stained with the pigment

House mould – Available to buy as a two pack on Amazon.
How it’s done
- Add 200g of Eco Resin to your cup.
TIP: Go slowly as it can be messy. - Next slowly begin adding your water and mix as you go. You want to aim for a pancake mix consistency that runs freely from your spoon and is smooth but is thick.
TIP: You have around 10 minutes before your mixture really begins to set so you need to work fast. - You can choose add colour or leave natural like we have.
- Slowly pour in to your mould.
- Let your piece cure for at least 30 minutes. DON’t be tempted to touch it before the time is up.
- Slowly un-mould your tray and sand any sharp edges very lightly if needed (although it often isn’t).
- Wait 24 hours to fully cure and before adding a candle.
