Is it safe to use resin with candles?
Are you wondering if you can make candle holders or tealight holders with resin?
Some epoxy resins are extremely heat resistant however it is NOT recommended that you use epoxy resin to make candle jars that you make candles in or as a candle or tealight holder. Long term exposure to high heat can cause resin to weaken and in extreme cases, burn, melt and release toxins.
Battery operated candles and Epoxy Resin
LED or battery operated lights release far less heat and are a great way of creating beautiful candle effects with epoxy resin pieces.
But, what if you want the real deal and love the effect a real flame gives?
Eco Resin Candle Holders
Eco Resin like Jesmonite, Eco Pour H2O and ResinCrete are all highly heat resistant and safe to use with real wax candles.
