How to seal Eco Resin

Are you wondering how to seal your eco resin? An Eco Resin sealer can create a waterproof and heatproof coating that provides protection and durability to your Eco Resin project. We look at some of the best options out there.


Create and Bloom Eco Pour UV Stable Sealer

An amazing allrounder. This Eco Pour sealer is great for all eco resins and has been highly tested with Eco Pour H2O.

Bloom-Finish is a UV stable, all-in-one glue, sealant and varnish. Use it to seal your eco resin creations, artwork, apply it to epoxy resin to add textures to finished pieces, acrylic paintings, fabric, decoupage paper, napkins, rice paper, mixed media paper and more to stick, seal and varnish.

All you need to do is brush or sponge on a thin layer and let air dry.


JDiction Sealer

JDiction crystal-clear gloss varnish provides a protective layer that prevents cracks and damage. It’s fireproof (perfect for candle use) and ensures full waterproofing.

This sealer is best applied with a sponge to avoid brush marks.

Not just for ResinCrete, this sealer is a great option for all Eco Resins.


Invisible Waterproof Agent

Usually used in DIY to prevent leaks – this waterproofing agent can be brushed or rolled on to your Eco Resin. It features a ‘fast-drying formula, making it easy to apply, patch, and seal; It forms a sturdy, yet flexible protective layer on the applied surface, ensuring long-lasting waterproof protection’.

You’ll need to be a little patient as you’re recommended to apply one layer and wait a minimum of 24 hours before adding your second later and letting dry again for 72 hours before use.


Air Dry Clay Glaze

Clay varnish can be used on clay, plaster, colored porcelain, pre-painted metal, wood, jewelry and more.

Available in gloss and matte, this product is highly versatile and strong. Apply two layer (allowing to dry inbetween) to get the most heat and water resistant finish to your eco resin.
