Vinegar
Don’t have alcohol or epoxy cleaner to hand? Vinegar may be something you have in your kitchen cupboard. Pour a good amount on to your spilled uncured resin surface or skin and wipe with kitchen roll.
How to remove cured resin
Epoxy resin is designed to be extremely durable and will adhere to most surfaces and materials. As a result, it is very difficult to remove cured resin from surfaces.
There’s a few things that can sometimes help though.
Heat – Using a heat gun to gently heat the cured resin can sometimes soften it enough that it can be scraped off.
Blunt knife – Always use knives with caution. Even blunt knives can damage surfaces.
Sanding – Depending on the surface, you can lightly sand cured resin then buff or polish back.
